What is the significance of a Dual Band and Gigabit Router?

A Gigabit router is a router that offers a fast Gigabit port, which allows for high-speed data transfers up to 1000 megabits per second.

Dual-band routers support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and provide faster speed and flexibility by having a separate SSID and password for each band.

Recommended for 25 Mbps and above.

What are the ways to enhance internet speed and performance?
  • Turn off your router for at least 5 to 10 minutes every day.
  • For better connectivity, keep your mobile device and laptop within approximately 5 metres of your router.
What should I do if my Wi-Fi connection is weak or out of range?
  • Determine your distance from the router. The greater the distance, the weaker the signal.
  • Adjust the position of your router to a more central area.
  • Place the router where there are fewer obstructions such as heavy walls and furniture.
Why is my internet connection slow?
  • Routers can hang after a while of operation. Restarting the router can resolve many connectivity problems.
  • Check your usage and the number of devices connected to your router.
  • Power off or disconnect devices that you are not currently using to free up bandwidth.
  • Slow internet can sometimes be caused by a weak Wi-Fi signal.
  • Regularly update your browsers and clear your browser cache.
What should I do if I have problems with Wi-Fi and connectivity?

  2. Reboot your router and Fiber Device/ONT.
  3. Confirm whether the Internet is working on other devices.
  4. Open the WorldSpace Broadband app and log a complaint. Our engineer will check the issue and revert to you as soon as possible.
Is it possible to ensure that I will experience 100% uptime?

Unfortunately, no provider can guarantee 100% uptime. All services may experience occasional outages or scheduled maintenance.
